Things to do in North Wales

When you visit North Wales you will want to return over and over again. There is so much to do and see and some things you will want to see more than once.
We have provided a selection of some of the attractions close to the Bod Erw and when you visit us we can point you in the direction of so much more.

Gwrych Castle

Just a 15 minute drive away is the famous Gwrych  Castle.

Currently in the spotlight for the filming location of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2020, Gwrych Castle has a very interesting history and a very bright future.

The castle was recently purchased by the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust (GCPT) and the locals have been watching with keen interest the works being carried out to bring this beautiful building back to its former glory.

Scenic Walks

North Wales is well known for its spectacular scenic walks.

Some are right on our doorstep where you can walk along the river Clwyd from St Asaph to Rhyl and others are dotted around in every direction.

There are coastal walks such as Rhos-on-sea Promenade or The Great Orm at Llandudno as an example.

There are mountain walks including a myriad of trails through the Snowdonia National Park.

Or if you like to stroll, ride or run then there is Llyn Brenig reservoir, Bala Lakes or Alwen Reservoir to name a few.
